Hypnotherapy

Why Hypnotherapy? What is your inner landscape?

Today, we stress ourselves more than ever to be a great professional, parent, spouse and often find ourselves overwhelmed. It is easy to ignore the fact that the demands of daily living can be repressed in the bodymind as our adrenaline pumps depleting our bodies. It is a theory people might develop disease as an unconscious means of calling for attention or getting neglected needs met. Also, one can forget, or simply set aside, the burning question, “What is my life all about?” Hypnotherapy is a tool that can be utilized to connect with your inner guide, or intuition, and the unconscious mind to release energetic blocks from repressed stress and regain a new foothold on refocusing on what’s really important…fulfilling your life purpose, and having fun living?

My passion is having others explore their past lives and in-between life states. One message that often comes through is that we need to lighten up and not take everything so seriously. Also, the challenges that are experienced were chosen by the soul of the client for important learning. I like to describe hypnosis as “massage for the mind” and that is why I perform both modalities, together if necessary. The following answers why:

A massage client was receiving a massage and had excess tension corresponding to the bladder meridian on the leg that she had over the last few months. Intuitively, I sensed that there was an emotional component to the tension, and asked her if there had been any major changes since that time. She mentioned that a senior colleague had left the company and she was having difficulty with the new one. Using hypnotic suggestion, with her consent, I had her bring awareness to how this can be affecting her body and find alternate ways of redirecting her tension. Conscious breathing out and focusing on a state or desired outcome in its place is a common and simple tool.
